The retreat kicks off at 5 pm, Thursday, June 15th and will conclude by 12 noon on Sunday, June 18th.

We conclude on Sunday at noon, and you’ll want to give yourself time to drive back to airport, drop off car, and get to the terminal.  Late afternoon flight out would be great.

πŸ”΄ Check in to the condo begins at 4 pm.

We will all meet at 5 pm by the check in office and head over to the event center for dinner.  It’s a quick drive over.

Your registration fee also covers your lodging expenses, and all meals Thursday dinner – Sunday breakfast.

You will need to bring a credit card (nothing will be charged to your card) to check into your rooms.  The town of Estes is fun, with lots of little shops and eateries, and lots of local shops too enjoy.  Sunday afternoon would be a great time check out the town.

The best airport to fly into is Denver International Airport.  Plan to fly in on Thursday, June 15th and arrive by early afternoon to give you time to drive up and get checked into your condo.

We conclude on Sunday at noon, and you’ll want to give yourself time to drive back to airport, drop off car, and get to the terminal.  Late afternoon flight out would be great.

πŸš— Rental car reservation needed to get you from the airport to Estes Park (we’d love to have folks coordinate rides up if possible and we’ll help with that as we get closers.  4-wheel drive not needed).

Then you will head up to Estes Park, CO. It’s about an hour and a half drive northwest from the airport on decent roads – nothing difficult to drive.

Join the Facebook group. This would be a great place to connect with people to car pool to the resort.

WEATHER/

ALTITUDE

We will be in the rocky mountains at 8,000 feet!

Bring layers, the weather can shift from 80 degrees to windy pretty quickly.  Dress to be warm at night

We will be in HIGH altitude.  This means you need to drink a lot of water.   This is an opportunity to be mindful.  For coffee drinkers ( like me) we need to bring extra water

Bring shoes to walk in nature with along with comfortable shoes/socks for class time

WHAT TO BRING

βœ”οΈWater bottle

βœ”οΈLight jacket

βœ”οΈWe will have food and snacks but bring extra food if you need it.

βœ”οΈBathing suit for hot tub

I T I N E R A R Y πŸ“

We will go over the itinerary when you arrive.  Know there will be time in class and free/quiet time.

We are an intimate group, we will also have time for individual council as well.
